Audit & Accounts Senior Newcastle Under Lyme Circa £34,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on Experience) Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading and well-established Staffordshire based firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an Audit & Accounts Senior to their team in Newcastle Under Lyme. This well-regarded firm has a large and varied client base consisting of a range of small-medium businesses and OMBs. The successful candidate will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors. The position will be varied and will see you leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion as well as the preparation and review of accounts and corporate tax returns. As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be client-facing and you will take a lead role on assignments with responsibility for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development. The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA Qualified or at the latter stages of their studies and will have experience of leading audit assignments, either in a pure audit role or a mixed audit & accounts position.
