A well-established, highly regarded, and successful accountancy practice based in Truro is looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join their team. You will have a highly mixed role here across both managing the delivery of audit services alongside wider year-end accounts and business services, managing the delivery of services to a wide range of the firm's clients, joining as a key addition, with progression on offer. Client Details Based in Truro, this chartered firm acts for very wide-ranging clients across varying industries, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited company OMBs and SMEs. Audit clients range across voluntary, subsidiaries of international businesses, groups, and the not-for-profit and charity sector. A mix of remote/home working to office involvement is on offer, with flexible hours and competitive benefits and salaries. A clear development and career progression path is also available. Description Joining their Truro offices as an Audit and Accounts Manager, reporting directly to the partners, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of audit and wider year-end accounts and business services to a portfolio across various sectors and turnovers. You will manage teams and individuals to deliver this work, along with providing coaching and support to junior staff. You will be responsible for reviewing and finalising work and preparing reports, with a high commitment to quality and responsibility for ensuring that the quality of service is maintained. This key hire comes at a stage of growth and development within the firm, offering the right person a clear path and route to progress and play a key role in the firm's ongoing success and development, along with the associated career rewards and progression this presents. Profile For this Audit and Accounts Manager role, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a demonstrable career background gained within UK accountancy practice firms, with experience across audit, accounts, and wider service provision managing the delivery of services to varied clients. You will also be looking to further your career in a firm and role where you can see the potential to carve a career path within a growing and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants. Job Offer Circa £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
