Your new firm A modern and forward-thinking firm based in Altrincham are seeking to recruit an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their team. This firm provides accounting, audit, personal and corporate tax, bookkeeping, and account management services to a range of SME clients with turnovers up £1 million - £50 million. Their clients mostly sit within manufacturing, retail, and logistics sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to join a fantastic firm which will support their development and get exposure to a range of services and clients which are unlike any other firm of this size.

Your new role As Account Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for account preparation for a range of SME clients. You will be required to take part in audits for local clients. You will also have bookkeeping duties and will use software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero. You will be a part of an experienced team of supportive staff and will have the opportunity to have a hands-on approach to professional development.

What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working in practice and will have some experience working in audits. This candidate will ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification and be AAT or ACCA Part Qualified. You will need a polite and professional manner and be willing to engage with clients and have the ability to develop relationships. You will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a good work ethic and willingness to learn.

What you'll get in return In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £26,000 and £35,000 dependent on experience.
