Find out how to protect yourself Taunton Permanent £32,000 - £38,000 per year Audit & Accounts Senior to join a growing firm of accountants in Taunton Superb opportunity to further career within the profession post qualification About Our Client

The firm has an excellent reputation across Somerset and the wider UK, along with international networks. Due to a strategy to plan for ongoing growth and development within the firm's Taunton operations, the firm offers a superb environment in which the right professionals can progress and carve a career. The firm's clients range from entrepreneurial start-ups and sole traders to partnerships and a significant proportion of OMBs and SMEs, with turnovers ranging into the millions and larger corporate clients. Job Description

Joining as Audit and Accounts Senior / Supervisor, there will be the potential for a mixed role across both audit and wider accounts, with the ability to mold the client base and work split depending on the experience, background, and motivations of the right professional. There is likely to be at least a 50% involvement within audit delivery, with the potential for a more heavily weighted audit role if the candidate's preferences warrant this. Alternatively, a 50/50 mix across audit and accounts will also work well. On the audit side, there is very limited need to travel and stay away, with the client base structured to minimize this. You will work on a wide range of clients, from voluntary audits to large groups in excess of £50 million in turnover, subsidiaries of overseas parent companies, and not-for-profit and charity clients. You will join a growing, highly successful audit/accounts team with approximately twenty-five people across various levels of experience and technical interests. This role has arisen as a direct result of ongoing organic growth and new client acquisition, offering a clear appraisal and progression development path. You will have a hands-on role, leading and acting as a senior/supervisor on client sites with increasing responsibility and progression opportunities. The Successful Applicant

The partners are looking to consider individuals across a range of experience to fit within this growing team. Candidates from both part-qualified/finalist level ACA/ACCA with at least 2-3 years of experience in either audit or a mixed audit/accounts background will fit well. This might suit an exam exit policy candidate from a larger tier firm background. Equally, a recently qualified ACA/ACCA Audit Senior or mixed Audit/Accounts Senior with up to 1 year of post-qualified experience looking to join a highly reputable firm will work well within the team. What's on Offer

Circa £32,000 - £38,000 dependent on the level of experience and background of the right professional.
