An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Director to join a leading accounting firm that is fuelling the growth of ambitious businesses. With a fast-paced environment and a clear mission to be the UK's leading tech-enabled accounting firm for SMEs, this firm is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team. What's great about this Audit Associate Director role? 35 hours per week (hybrid role with up to 50% remote work). 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. Your role as an Audit Associate Director: Take full responsibility for managing your own client portfolio, working closely with partners and listed clients to deliver exceptional results. Oversee audits from start to finish, ensure compliance with listing requirements, and act as a key advisor to senior stakeholders. Develop and manage relationships with CFOs, CEOs, and boards, and support the growth of the firm by identifying new business opportunities. Manage a client portfolio, including listed companies. Plan and deliver audits on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Provide expert advice on technical matters, particularly in more complex regulatory environments. Act as the primary contact for senior stakeholders, fostering strong client relationships. Manage, mentor, and train team members, ensuring their ongoing development. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth. What you'll need to succeed: ACA or ACCA qualified with deep technical expertise. Existing experience of managing a portfolio of listed clients. Strong communication and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders. Familiarity with the reporting and compliance requirements for listed companies. Excellent project management abilities, ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects. A proactive approach, with a willingness to get hands-on with tasks when needed. A passion for feedback and continuous learning. Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and office-based work.
