Our client is seeking a Part-Qualified Audit Associate (ideally has completed 9-10 ACCA exams) to deliver exceptional service to their clients and contribute to the growth and success of their team and firm. In this role, you will assist the manager in executing audit assignments, helping to enhance the firm’s reputation across various industries.
Key Performance Areas:
Planning, conducting fieldwork, and completing audits (both statutory and CASS audits) in line with auditing standards and the firm’s established methodology.
Preparing financial statements, including consolidated accounts, using CaseWare under UK GAAP or IFRS.
Leading audit assignments, building strong client relationships, resolving audit issues before manager review, reviewing junior staff work, and providing constructive feedback.
Communicating complex or sensitive issues to the manager and partner, using sound judgment to determine when escalation is necessary.
Offering innovative suggestions to improve audit methodologies and enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
Part-Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW or ICAS).
A strong audit focus with experience in UK GAAP and IFRS.
Experience leading a team of two or more on audit assignments, including group audits.
2.1 degree in any discipline, or equivalent.
At least 136 UCAS Tariff points from your top 3 A-levels, or an equivalent (340 under the old tariff).
Have a minimum of Level 7 (or A grade under the old system) in GCSE Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
