A truly independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leeds is looking to appoint an Audit Director.
This Chartered firm is looking to recruit an ambitious individual who wishes to progress their external audit career and who is keen to become involved in the overall management and strategic direction of the audit team, whilst maintaining involvement with a portfolio of clients.
The role:
Managing a portfolio of clients and delivering a high quality audit service. Planning staffing and resources for assignments, managing audits from planning to completion within agreed budgets and timescales. Coaching and developing other members of the audit team and enabling them to grow their knowledge and experience. Playing a key role in managing the operational and strategic direction of the team together with a portfolio of their own audit clients. Developing and maintaining client relationships and identifying new business development opportunities. Providing technical expertise, advice, and leadership to the audit team and clients. Assisting the audit partners in ensuring standards and procedures are maintained by the team. This role could suit audit professionals looking to move from an independent, mid-tier, or a national firm. This position can remain as a salaried role or for individuals looking for equity involvement, this could be on offer in the future.
