Audit Director / Partner Opportunity Large Accounting firm in Yorkshire About Our Client The company is a highly regarded firm within the professional services industry. With over 500 employees, they are renowned for delivering top-tier auditing and financial services to their clients. This firm operates from multiple offices across the UK, with this role being based in Leeds and North Yorkshire. Job Description Direct and manage all audit operations within the firm Develop and implement strategies to enhance audit procedures Maintain an in-depth knowledge of professional services industry standards and regulations Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure efficient and effective operations Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment Ensure all audit activities align with company policies and objectives Oversee the preparation of audit reports and financial statements Manage relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction The Successful Applicant A successful Audit Director should have: A recognised professional qualification in Accounting or a related field Proven leadership and management skills A thorough understanding of auditing processes and procedures Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines What's on Offer A competitive salary ranging from £70-100k for director and circa £150k for Partner Income protection and life assurance Sick pay and smart working options Discounts on various products and services Professional subscriptions paid in full
