About the Audit Executive role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Executive in our Truro office. As an Audit Executive you will be working as part of a team on audits, preparing accounts for larger corporates and potentially working on some special projects. Key responsibilities of an Audit Executive will include:

Assist within the wider team by obtaining audit evidence necessary to support opinions given. Prepare analysis of accounting data from clients' books and records. Ensure audit files have all relevant documentation on the appropriate section; check appropriate and sufficient documentation obtained to support the opinion and documenting all conclusions. Active engagement with client staff in the gathering of appropriate audit evidence. Involvement in the planning, execution and finalisation of the audit assignment supporting the audit manager. Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements. Identify and understand client needs, including sometimes providing initial solutions to client challenges, then communicating these needs and solutions to the audit manager. Build strong relationships with new and established clients. Travel to local and national clients on a regular basis. About you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a practice background. Ideally AAT Qualified, potentially part-way through ACCA or ACA. Familiar with Caseware. CCH experience would be advantageous. Professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Outgoing, enthusiastic and ambitious to develop. Able to work well within a team and manage own workload. Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Full benefits available for the Audit Executive
