Audit Manager Central London - Hybrid £60,000 - £72,000 Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our clients accounting team. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the auditing process of our clients' financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for providing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance financial controls and mitigate risks. With a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data for our clients. As an Audit Manager, you will work closely with our clients, building strong relationships and serving as a trusted advisor in all matters related to auditing. Responsibilities Oversee and manage the entire auditing process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Develop and implement audit plans and procedures, tailored to each client's specific needs. Review financial statements, records, and reports to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy. Evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement. Lead and coach audit teams, providing guidance and support throughout the auditing process. Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations for senior management and clients. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with advanced qualifications such as ACA/ACCA/International Equivalent. Proven experience as an Audit Manager or similar role in the accounting industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and auditing standards. Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
