Audit Manager Responsibilities:

Audit Delivery: - Plan, coordinate, and oversee audit assignments to deliver high-quality results within agreed budgets and deadlines. - Identify audit risks and ensure comprehensive control assessments for each client's business. - Take ownership of the technical quality of audit files and ensure thorough completion before Partner review. Team Leadership: - Lead, manage, and inspire audit teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and collaboration. - Provide coaching, development opportunities, and performance feedback for junior colleagues to unlock their full potential. - Act as a mentor, ensuring team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel. Client Relationships: - Build and nurture strong client relationships through exceptional service and the delivery of meaningful insights. - Develop a deep understanding of each client's business to offer tailored recommendations and value-added advice. - Represent HURST with professionalism and integrity, ensuring our clients' needs are consistently met. Compliance and Quality Standards: - Ensure all audits comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Review deliverables, including accounts, tax computations, letters of representation, and board reports, to maintain the highest standards. - Keep up to date with professional and technical knowledge through CPD and industry engagement.

Audit Manager Qualifications and Experience: Full ACA/ACCA qualification or relevant equivalent experience (essential). Significant experience in delivering high-quality audit assignments in a practice setting (essential). Demonstrable experience of working with SME and/or international client bases across a variety of sectors. Proven track record of leading audit teams and managing client relationships effectively (essential). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with data analytics platforms such as Power BI, Data Snipper. Knowledge and understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others (essential).
