We have partnered with a Top 10 accountancy firm based in Southampton, to seek a driven and dedicated Audit Manager to join their leading auditing team.
Working with a broad mix of clients, you will lead the audit team and support the Partners with business development and practice management.

Act as lead on audit work and setting budgets and reporting directly to the Partner Management of staff including arrangement of timetable, hiring, training, reviews and oversight of audit and related assignments Involved in business development - preparing and review of proposals for new work, marketing events and identification of new opportunities with existing clients Client billing and commercial awareness of WIP What you'll need to succeed:
ACA, ACCA, CA or an equivalent qualification Significant external audit experience within a professional services environment Experience of working with entrepreneurial, OMB, SME and AIM listed clients Working knowledge of accounting and audit standards, industry specifics and their applications Strong communication skills and experience with the management and motivation of staff Experience with business development activities such as targeting, preparation of proposal documents, proposal presentations and attendance of networking events What next:
