Responsibilities: As an Audit Manager, you will…. Be responsible for a portfolio of clients with £500k+ gross recurring fees, covering a variety of business activities, sizes, and structures. Day to day leadership of audits including being the key contact for the client, engagement partner and supporting team members Leadership of all aspects of audit assignment including job planning and budgeting, time and project management, delegating to and supervising of the team. Planning jobs to ensure audits are carried out in the most efficient way possible while considering firm-wide productivity.
Requirements: As an Audit Manager, you will need…. Qualified to ACA/ACCA or equivalent Experience managing both people and a portfolio Experience leading audit teams including group audits Current portfolio must have a minimum of 70% audit work High level of familiarity with UK auditing and accounting standards Commercial awareness and able to apply and communicate technical knowledge in a clear and commercial way Experience in both substantive and controls based audits, group reporting and cross border groups Expertise in delivery of the primary accounting frameworks (UK GAAP, FRS 101, FRS 102 and IFRS)
