LHH is excited to partner with an independent firm in Stoke-on-Trent that is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their growing team! Key Responsibilities:

Lead audit engagements: Support the audit partner by planning, executing, and completing audit assignments for a range of clients. Financial statements preparation: Prepare management accounts and statutory accounts for limited companies and groups. Tax calculations: Create corporation tax calculations and returns for corporate clients. Compliance support: Assist with compliance tasks, including VAT returns. Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, becoming a trusted advisor. Team development: Train and supervise junior team members, supporting their ongoing development and professional growth.

Requirements: ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent). Experience in audit, accounting, and tax services, with a solid understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax legislation. Proficient in using audit, accounting, and tax software. Full clean driver's license: Ability to travel to client sites as needed. Organisational skills: Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. Strong communication skills: Confident in liaising with clients and internal teams, providing clear guidance and updates.
