Job Description We're seeking a talented person to join our ABS Training and Development team. As an Audit Manager - Technical Training and Development, you will be a part of our ABS Training and Development team, which is responsible for playing a key role in training staff in practical ways to manage the firm’s regulatory and reputational risk in an increasingly challenging environment. We’re a national team of both direct staff and volunteers, proud to work closely with audit teams to provide continuous and relevant practical training. We are also a part of the Assurance Technical and Training (ATAT) and we are working closely with Learning and Development, to provide a cohesive service. As an Audit Manager - Technical Training and Development your responsibilities will include: Liaising with all stakeholders, incl. Training and Development Lead, to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant training and that feedback is taken into account Organising, developing, reviewing and delivery of training to agreed timescales Prepaing proposals for developing training, attending all relevant internal meetings and training sessions and developing a network of contacts Managing/co-managing a limited portfolio of audit clients to maintain knowledge and experience of current practices and issues Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Qualified by experience (ACA, CA, ACCA) with significant external audit experience gained within a professional services environment Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, industry specifics and their application. Good working knowledge of skill requirements of staff at various levels to ensure work is undertaken by appropriate individual.
