Your new company - This firm is a renowned chartered accountancy practice based in Guildford that offers a comprehensive range of services including accountancy, compliance, audit, tax, payroll services, and business outsourcing. - They are recognized as a top 10 accountancy practice and are always on the lookout for talented individuals. They have close to 100 team members spread across five office locations, where they have a unique perspective on what drives business, what motivates people – and achieves results. Your new role - Be responsible for dealing with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of audited entities. - Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales and identify opportunities for additional billings. - Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required. - Ensure that the firm’s risk management and quality control procedures are adhered to at all times. - Work as part of a management team with other Audit Managers within the business group (resource planning, merit rate meetings, and efficiency gains). - Support Partners with the implementation and communication of any new business strategy for existing and target audit entities as well as the internal business. What you'll need to succeed - Previous experience of auditing and year-end/statutory accounts within an accountancy practice. - Qualified ACCA/ACA with 2 years post-qualified experience. - You will need an aptitude for analytical thinking and good attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. What you'll get in return - Competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 PA. - Flexible and Hybrid Working (2 days pw from home post-probation). - Pension, Life Assurance, above standard rate of Holiday Allowance. - On-site parking. - Progression to Audit Director level and possible annual bonus.
