It is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our Corby office one or two days a week. There is also some travel required to international business sites as part of this role (approximately eight to ten weeks per year). We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Group Operational Audit function. The team supports the effective design and implementation of the business’s internal controls, helping to manage risk appropriately and achieve strategic objectives. This pivotal role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of operational audits both in the UK and overseas. What you will be doing: Planning and conducting operational audits to assess the design and effectiveness of the relevant operational and financial controls, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Identifying risk areas and offering solutions to mitigate potential issues. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with functions across the group to enhance the overall risk management framework, whilst providing expertise and support on audit-related matters. Supporting a high-performing operational audit team, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the team. About you: Experience in external/internal audit and risk management. Understanding of internal audit methodologies, risk management, and internal control frameworks. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external stakeholders to explain, justify, manage, and resolve risk and internal control observations effectively and efficiently. A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or a professional certification (e.g., Institute of Internal Audit, ACA, etc.). Experience presenting and explaining reports to senior-level management.
