OutThere RPO are supporting the recruitment of an Audit Manager / Senior Auditor. Working directly with the partners providing client focused and commercially aware services in an efficient and professional manner. What will I be doing as an Audit Manager/ Senior Auditor? You will mentor, train and manage more junior members of staff to enable them to develop, progress and reach their potential. Whilst this role is predominately audit work, there is an opportunity to carry out non-audit work, including statutory accounts preparation, tax compliance advice and other ad-hoc services. Key responsibilities: Oversee and complete the planning of audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, through to completing the audit tests for high-risk areas. Responsibility for setting and achieving agreed budgets and meeting deadlines. Manage audits, supervising, delegating and reviewing work of more junior staff, assisting them with technical queries. Delivery of complete Audit file for review. Attendance at initial planning meetings and Audit close down meetings with the clients. Delivery of work carried out under the primary accounting frameworks, mainly FRS102. Review of annual statutory accounts and corporation tax services. Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, rules, and requirements. Developing specialist sector knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments. Deal directly with clients in person and on the phone, constantly building strong relationships, to provide a personal, professional and efficient service to the firms clients. Minimum Requirements: ACA or ACCA Qualified. Auditing Experience, including experience leading audits. Competent technical knowledge of UK accounting (mainly FRS102) and auditing standards. Strong IT skills, experience of using Audit and Accounts software, proficient in using Microsoft Office 365. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively deal with clients, partners, and colleagues. Demonstrates diligence and attention to detail. Experience in supervising and working well as part of a team. Experience of managing a portfolio. Experience of working with a variety of clients including OMB’s and/or not for profit. Good commercial knowledge to ensure profitability and recoverability.
