Your new company We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced audit senior to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, and delivering high-quality audit services to our clients. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects effectively. Your new role Key Responsibilities: Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare and review audit documentation and financial statements. Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies. Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support. Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and provide updates on audit progress. Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management. Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations. Stay current with changes in auditing standards and regulations. Participate in business development activities, including client meetings and proposal preparation. What you'll need to succeed Qualifications and Skills: ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in audit within an accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient at using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
