A well-established firm of accountants in Cheltenham is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join their growing audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to further their career in audit while working with a diverse client portfolio, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporate entities. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audits, ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards. Work with a varied portfolio of clients across multiple industries, building strong professional relationships. Conduct audit testing and analytical reviews, identifying and resolving technical issues. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and reviewing their work. Liaise with clients, partners, and senior managers to deliver high-quality audit assignments efficiently. Assist with advisory and assurance projects, providing insight and recommendations to clients. Keep up to date with regulatory changes, ensuring audits adhere to the latest standards. What We’re Looking For:

ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist, with relevant UK audit experience. Previous experience in an accountancy practice, ideally within an audit-focused role. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple deadlines. A proactive and adaptable approach, with a keen interest in career development. What’s on Offer:
