Their commitment to client success and employee development makes them a standout workplace. About the Role This growing firm is looking to add an Audit Senior to their team. As an Audit Senior, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse client base. The position will require office-based work as well as travel to clients' premises for onsite audits. Duties & Responsibilities As an Audit Senior, your main responsibilities will include: Leading and planning audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Conducting audits onsite at clients' premises, developing strong working relationships with clients. Reviewing financial statements and identifying any areas of risk or non-compliance. Ensuring all audit and accounting standards and regulations are met. Preparing and reviewing audit workpapers, ensuring accuracy and thorough documentation. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their growth and skill development. Communicating audit findings to clients, discussing improvements, and providing recommendations. Coordinating with managers and partners to ensure seamless project management and high standards of client service. Keeping up to date with industry standards and regulatory requirements, sharing knowledge within the team. Requirements Ideal candidates will have: A minimum of two years of accountancy practice experience focused in audit. Part or full ACCA/ACA qualifications. Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships. Benefits A competitive starting salary of £30,000+, based on skills and experience.
