Role Overview As an Audit Senior, you will have the opportunity to carry out audit duties for a diverse range of medium to large owner-managed clients across various industries. Typical assignments will involve clients with turnovers exceeding £10 million.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and performing audits while leading a team. Obtaining background data to facilitate effective audit planning. Preparing and reviewing financial statements. Preparing corporation tax computations. Drafting management letters and reports. Ensuring time budgets are adhered to. Maintaining client confidentiality and fostering professional relationships. Supervising and assisting junior staff members. Liaising with other departments to efficiently complete assignments. Actively participating in technical training sessions and team activities.
Core Skills The ideal candidate will possess:
ACA or ACCA qualification. A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience within a multi-partner practice, with at least 40% audit exposure. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to build strong relationships with both staff and clients. A collaborative mindset with problem-solving aptitude. The ability to work effectively under pressure. A desire for long-term career enhancement and a commitment to professional development.
