We are currently recruiting for an experienced Audit Senior to join a growing accountancy and advisory firm with a strong presence across the UK for their Edinburgh office.

Our client is a top-ten UK accountancy practice and the largest SME-focused practice and this is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise and work with an industry-diverse client base.

About The Role

As an Audit Senior, you will:

* Take ownership of your portfolio with the guidance of experienced managers.

* Contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets.

* Build strong and enduring relationships with a range of clients.

* Execute and complete audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical procedures, often at client premises.

* Plan and finalise audit assignments with thorough documentation for partner or manager review.

* Prepare statutory financial statements using client data, identifying potential risk areas and key concerns.

* Provide support and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their development.

To be considered for the role we would love you to be:

* ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.

* experienced in Auditing clients across various industries, with a solid understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.

* able to coach and mentor junior staff effectively.

You would work within a collaborative environment where your growth and success are priorities and you are in control of driving your career.
