Role Overview This Audit Senior position offers an outstanding opportunity for a qualified audit professional to take their career to the next level. You will play a critical role in managing audit fieldwork, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members across the Southwest of England.

Audit Senior Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and conduct comprehensive audit fieldwork for a diverse client portfolio Prepare complex financial statements with meticulous attention to detail Develop and train junior team members Build and maintain strong client relationships Translate complex technical matters into clear, practical guidance Conduct in-depth technical research to support client and internal team needs Assist Audit Partners in departmental development and strategic growth Network within regional business communities Provide strategic insights to support client financial objectives Collaborate across multiple office locations as required Audit Senior Requirements: ACA or ACCA qualification with substantial audit experience OR part qualified with good experience Comprehensive understanding of UK Financial Reporting Standards Strong knowledge of International Auditing Standards Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with Caseware audit software preferred Sage Accounts software knowledge advantageous Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Proven leadership and team development capabilities Professional, adaptable, and client-focused approach Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Resilient and emotionally intelligent professional Benefits: Competitive salary with annual review 36.25-hour working week with flexible and hybrid options 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to 25 days after 3 years) Option to carry over one week's holiday Death in service benefit (3x annual salary) Comprehensive rewards and health scheme 24-hour employee assistance programme Flexible benefits package Pension scheme with employer matching Enhanced maternity and paternity pay Significant professional development opportunities Staff commission schemes This role provides an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Audit Senior to advance their career within a progressive and supportive accountancy practice.
