Audit Senior Manager / Associate

This could be just the role for you… Trial Balance has been assigned by a leading firm with multiple offices nationwide to find a Senior Manager with a strong focus on audit to play a lead role in managing the audit process for some key clients. This role would be suitable for a candidate who already holds or is capable of obtaining RI status. Your duties in this role will include: Helping to support and manage exceptional delivery of Audit & Assurance services for a varied client base. Taking responsibility for the financial performance and management of a portfolio of audit clients. Developing a strong commercial understanding of the client's businesses and any developments within it, identifying opportunities for other service lines. Ensuring that the firm's risk management and quality control procedures are always adhered to. Playing an integral role in the recruitment, retention, training, development and motivation of the Audit & Assurance team. Developing business in new and existing clients. Working with the Senior Leadership team supporting on strategy and business planning. Winning and delivering assignments as necessary to achieve annual targets. This role would be a great fit for a candidate who can offer the following attributes: ACCA/ACA qualified, ideally with a practicing certificate and RI experience. At least 3 years post qualification audit experience gained in practice. Strong technical ability with a working knowledge of recent developments in relation to audit, and accounting standards (UK GAAP / IFRS, ISAs). The ability to demonstrate gravitas and impact to earn the trust and respect amongst both the senior leadership and the wider team.
