Audit Partner Designate to join an accountancy practice with clear progression. Bridgwater based, leading and developing this firm's audit service line. About Our Client This highly regarded Bridgwater based chartered firm of accountants has a wide range of clients across differing sectors, turnovers, and industries. They cover smaller sole traders and partnerships, alongside a large client base of OMBs, SMEs, larger corporates, overseas groups, as well as not-for-profit, charity, and educational clients, up to £100 million in turnover on their largest clients. The firm has grown throughout its history through ongoing, sustained organic new client growth and has a team of around fifty staff with long-serving employees, reflecting its team-focused and supportive culture. Job Description Joining the Bridgwater office as an Audit Partner Designate with clear progression on offer, you will bring and utilise your accountancy practice career strengths and background as either an all-round general practitioner across all areas of audit, accounts, and tax, or you may have specialised within audit in a larger firm and be looking for a career move with progression to Partner level within a smaller independent firm. You will take on a portfolio of clients, manage teams, and work closely with the partner group, progressing to become a partner on a negotiable and workable timescale, with a clear path and route mapped out to fit and work around the right candidate. The Successful Applicant You will hold ACA, ACCA, or other accounting/tax qualifications, with a career background in accountancy practice having developed your career to the Senior Manager / Partner Designate levels. You will have an audit-focused or all-around general practitioner career background gained within any small, medium/large size, mid-tier, or top-tier firm, with a technical skill set across audit, accounts, and tax, and you will be seeking a challenging, long-term career move in the profession at this level. What's on Offer Circa £75,000 - £95,000 dependent on the background, experience, and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable. Please apply online, and for a further confidential discussion, please contact Mark Bailey on 01179 271452 to find out more.
