As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be leading a team of audit professionals and managing a portfolio of varied clients. This accountancy practice has a diverse client portfolio which includes a variety of exciting companies from groups to overseas subsidiaries and a range of corporate and not for profit clients. Client Details This Accountancy practice are based in Leeds city centre with offices across the UK. As a Top 20 firm in the UK, they are continuously growing with London as their main audit hub. Description Reporting to a partner you will handle the development her team, attraction of new talent, delivering / overview of technical work, client stakeholder management and ensure all the correct processes and procedures are followed. Develop, retain and motivate junior members of staff and assist in the management of the team on a day-to-day basis Proactively monitor and help to resolve people issues, provide constructive input to colleagues, identify and act upon own and team training and development needs, provide support to career planning of team members Management of budgets, fees targets, WIP and debtors Advising on an array of practice queries when necessary Act as one of the main points of contact within the office for clients, keeping them informed of progress in relation to all aspects of service delivery and maintaining regular contact with them Review work completed by junior team members and resolving all issues Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and set deadlines Working and liaising with colleagues in other offices/departments as necessary to provide high quality client service Knowledgeable of the firm's services and able to cross-sell those services into the client base This position is primarily based in the office due to the people management nature of this role. Ideally, the successful individual will be based in the office 4 days a week. Profile ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience. Have proven experience of working in a practice environment Experience in managing an audit portfolio Have a proven track record of maintaining strong client relationships Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client solutions Be a motivated individual and able to work alone or as part of a team The ability to take responsibility and use own initiative to resolve problems and issues Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels Strong organisation and planning skills and attention to detail The ability to positively embrace changes and new challenges Job Offer City Centre location Flexible/hybrid working available 25 days holiday Work life balance Death in service Payment of professional subscriptions Annual discretionary bonus Salary is dependent on experience but they are flexible between £60-75k
