As an Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to clients. This position demands a proactive individual with robust technical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning and Execution:

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Develop audit plans, identify key risks, and design audit procedures to address those risks. Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements, and audit reports. Ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and relevant legislation. Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during audit engagements. Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and providing value-added advice. Address client queries and concerns promptly and professionally. Team Leadership and Development:

Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. Review the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high standards of work. Assist in the training and development of audit staff through on-the-job coaching and formal training sessions. Technical Expertise:

Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, auditing practices, and industry developments. Apply technical knowledge and expertise to solve complex audit issues and provide practical solutions. Quality Control:

Ensure all audit work is performed in accordance with the firm's quality control policies and procedures. Identify and address any audit quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary. Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) is required. Experience:

Minimum 2 years of audit experience in a practice in Ireland. Proven experience in leading and managing audit engagements. Skills and Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members. High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications. What Our Client Offers:
