You will be working for a rapidly growing accountancy practice with a large network of offices offering a wide range of services to their clients, primarily within owner-managed small and medium-sized businesses.
As an Audit Senior, you will have the ability and motivation to take ownership of your own portfolio with support from your manager, helping the team deliver revenue and profitability targets while developing enduring client relationships.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Completion of audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, typically on-site at client premises. Planning and completion of audit assignments, ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation. Preparing statutory financial statements from client data. Highlighting high-level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager using your own judgment. Planning the execution and finalization of audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.
Ideally, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearly qualified, with a good working knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP gained through experience in another accountancy practice firm. Experience auditing clients across various industries is preferred, along with experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff.
