Audit Senior Would you like to work within an entrepreneurial firm of accountants whereby you can really make the role your own and have autonomy within the Audit department?

We are delighted to be partnering with a small firm of accountants in Warwick to recruit an Audit Senior into the business. Salary: £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience and qualification.

The Firm: Within this modern, forward-thinking firm, the business is overseen by two driven and approachable directors who have created a superb working culture over the last 10 years. - A staff of 20 within modern offices. - Flexibility and autonomy are at the heart of their ethos. - Our client provides exceptional services across audit, accounting, and advisory, working with clients throughout the Midlands, London, the Cotswolds, and the Home Counties, providing a full range of services to SMEs, owner-managed businesses, Landed Estates, and High-Net Worth individuals. Our client combines the commerciality and expertise of a large organization with the approachability of a personal adviser, focusing on client satisfaction and delivering results.

Role Responsibilities: - Oversee 1 member of the audit team (audit team of 2 with 10 Audit clients). - Support the delivery of audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, OMBs, and large corporations. - Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training, guidance, and feedback. - Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant auditing standards. - Review financial statements and report findings to senior management. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive advice and insights. - Manage the day-to-day running of audit assignments, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. - Support the development of new business and contribute to firm growth.

The Successful Applicant will have: - In-depth experience in conducting Financial Audits. - A professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) is desirable or part qualification. - Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards. - A strong background in finance and accounting. - Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
