Hourly rate of pay: £21.14 - £23.56 Days and Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00 Days of working are negotiable, flexi time is applicable, and starting and finishing times are flexible. To provide audit coverage across all services and functions of East Lothian Council, and associate and subsidiary organisations partners and associated Councils when appropriate, to undertake specific and, on occasions, complex projects as identified in the Internal Audit Plan and assigned by the Principal Auditor and the Service Manager Internal Audit, in order to assess the adequacy of governance arrangements, risk management and internal control. Relevant Qualifications Post graduate level professional accounting / audit qualification and hold full current membership of a professional body (to be one of CCAB accounting body, CIMA, or the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors).
