We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auditor to join a team in Stirling. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, conducting, and completing audit assignments for a variety of clients. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills and a thorough understanding of auditing standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct audit assignments from inception to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans and programs.

Conduct fieldwork, including testing and reviewing financial statements, systems, and controls.

Prepare and review audit working papers and documentation in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.

Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to clients and senior management.

Assist in the preparation and presentation of audit reports and financial statements.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and industry trends.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.

Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of auditing standards and practices.

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in audit, preferably within a professional services firm.

Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.

Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
