Autism Care Assistant for a Young Person P/T @ £12.10/hr in Harrogate - FTE - £23.6k
I'm looking for a Personal Assistant or Care Assistant for my young person with autism and speech and language delay, but without challenging behavior. The role involves looking after her every Wednesday after school (3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) and providing 6 hours of support either Saturday or Sunday for community activities or at our house. Extra hours may be available during school holidays. She is a very happy child who enjoys baking, painting, soft play, sensory activities, swimming, riding public transport (bus/trains), and outdoor playparks. Responsibilities

Training in Safeguarding Adults/Children Food Hygiene Certification First Aid Certification Hand Hygiene Knowledge Understanding of Autism/Aspergers Full UK driving license Access to a personal car Schedule, Pay & Hours
Pay: £12.10/hr, with a full-time equivalent of £23.6k. Schedule includes Wednesday afternoons and either Saturday or Sunday, with flexibility for additional hours during school holidays.
