Every shift for an Autism Practitioner changes a life. Its a care role. Its a teaching role. Its a role model role. Its varied. Its a career. Its a passion. Its teamwork. Its challenging. Its rewarding. Its for you.We operate a rota based on a rolling pattern of early and late shifts throughout 52 weeks of the year, including weekends and public holidays. Our early shift starts at 7am and finishes at 4pm and our late shift starts at 2pm and finishes at 10pm. For those who are not experienced in care, we offer a comprehensive, freetrainingprogramme including hands-on working alongside experienced and senior team members, resulting in the completion of a Level 3 diploma you will gain a salary increase upon completion of the Diploma (usually within your first 12 months) and become eligible for promotion to Autism Practitioner Level 2. We have colleagues who completely changed their careers to come to work with us and now thoroughly enjoy how rewarding it can be to support the autistic young people at Prior's Court. About us
Priors Court is a registered charity providing education and residential care for autistic young people with complex needs, aged 5-25. Set within a 50-acre site in Berkshire, we have extensive bespoke facilities to help the young people we support to be healthy, happy, more independent and have the opportunity to access the world of work. We understand that the little things are actually the big things for an autistic young person, and we celebrate them as major milestones. A daily life skill gained or an anxiety conquered today is a stepping stone towards tomorrows work placement, or a shared special occasion with family. Priors Court never stays still. We are ambitious for our young people and aspire to be a global leader for autistic young people with complex needs. We want to deliver outcomes for them beyond our imagination; to help transform the lives of even more autistic young people, and to develop practice improvements which we can share across the world.
