1:1 Teaching Assistants
for a
SEND school
that is located in Ashington, Northumberland. This specialist school provides education and support for
pupils aged 2- 19 . We are looking for individuals to support students with
Autism on a 1:1 basis or small group basis. Previous experience working with autism and/or learning difficulties is a must. Team Teach
training is advantageous, however free training may be provided. You: Ideally have previous experience with autism, learning difficulties, or complex needs Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Have a high standard of classroom skills Promote a positive, inclusive and integrated learning environment Have a passion for teaching and learning with the ability to make learning enjoyable and fun Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working Leader Education can offer: Refer a friend or colleague bonus scheme: £100 per referral (terms apply) Competitive rates Free CPD including Team Teach A dedicated consultant to answer any queries and for ongoing support Staff socials Leader Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, all applicants must go through a thorough vetting procedure, including enhanced DBS and reference checks.
