Expleo is seeking experienced Auto Electricians for an exciting new challenge within our Research and Development environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for automotive vehicle electrical support, including preparation, building, reworking, and fault diagnostics.
Location: Uttoxeter (5 days on-site)
Contract: Outside IR35/Inside I35
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Support testing in static and dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality test data/results.
- Analyze faults and effectively report issues to relevant areas of production and engineering.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Fundamental understanding of vehicle dis-assembly, assembly, and maintenance techniques.
- Proficient in vehicle system knowledge with the ability to fault find components and wiring.
- Preferable qualifications: City & Guilds / BTEC / IMI Level 3 in automotive engineering or a recognized apprenticeship/qualification in a relevant field.
- Ability to read and understand detailed circuit drawings.
- Familiarity with Word and PowerPoint for report writing.

- Electrical Harness
- Voltage (HV/LV Battery)
- Circuit, volt drop, and wire temperature calculations
Requirements:
- Right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are eligible to work in the UK.
