Automation Design Engineer . For the successful Automation Design Engineer, our client is offering: Up to £33,000 per annum Day positions - Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 17.15pm - Friday 4.15pm Permanent role with a progressive company Every second Friday non-working Development opportunities within the company The role - Automation Design Engineer: Design of Automated Machines / Equipment from First Principles to Full Design Lead Design reviews Lead Machine Risk Assessment Review Prepare and present project information and costs at Stage gate 1 to 3 Prepare project costings including BOM Provide support for modifications / design changes found at Build / Commissioning stages of the project Support Existing Equipment both in BIUK and other companies What our client is looking for in an Automation Design Engineer: A Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar
ESSENTIAL Have an interest in system / mechanical assembly design
ESSENTIAL Good experience of using 3D CAD, but full training on Solid Edge will be provided and must be able to demonstrate practical CAD skills
BENEFICIAL A proactive problem solver with an analytical approach. We want a team member who is dedicated and tenacious with an ability to quickly learn new concepts, take ownership of tasks and work to tight deadlines
