He’s looking for someone who shares his joy at breaking things and then fixing them to understand how things work… someone who is a true engineer at heart. Responsibilities: Programming and maintaining SCADA and PLC systems (Siemens preferred, though Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi is acceptable). Working with current and obsolete PLC/SCADA systems. Understanding databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL. Contributing to AI and Machine Learning projects within the industrial manufacturing sector. Traveling to client sites across the UK as required. Minimum Requirements: Several years of SCADA and PLC programming experience. Experience in food manufacturing environments is preferred. Programming experience with Python, C++, or BASIC is advantageous. Willingness to learn and expand programming skills.
