Automation Project Manager , you will oversee a variety of automation projects, ranging from the integration of advanced robotics to the implementation of facility-wide automated systems. You will manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring all regulations are adhered to, budgets are maintained, and outcomes exceed expectations. This position reports directly to the Director level and will see you working across multiple departments and teams, acting as the driving force behind key automation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: Leading automation projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Designing and implementing automated solutions to improve efficiency and quality. Analysing existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Managing contractors, overseeing equipment sourcing, and liaising with suppliers. Writing and presenting capital expenditure (CapEx) reports. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Conducting risk assessments and compliance checks. Building relationships with vendors and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems. What we re looking for in a candidate: Proven experience in engineering and automation, with at least 5 years in a project management role. A background in manufacturing or engineering, with experience in managing automation projects. Qualifications in Engineering (degree or equivalent) with proficiency in robotics, control systems, and automation. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
