Birmingham (2 days a week on-site) API Testing : Execute and manage API testing to ensure system functionality and performance. Test Planning & Case Creation : Develop and document test plans, test cases, and test strategies within
Azure DevOps . Test Data Management : Utilize
SQL Developer
to write queries for extracting and validating test data from databases. Code Reviews : Raise peer reviews through
GitHub
for code quality, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Agile Practices : Actively participate in
daily stand-up meetings ,
sprint planning ,
sprint reviews , and
retrospectives . Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes. Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality delivery within sprints. Defect Management : Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. Required Skillset: Azure DevOps : Strong knowledge of
Azure DevOps , including test plan creation, writing test cases, and managing the test lifecycle. API Testing Tools : Hands-on experience with
Postman
or
Bruno
for API testing. SQL : Expertise in writing
SQL queries
for data extraction and validation from databases. Version Control : Experience using
GitHub
for version control and performing code reviews. Agile Methodology : Experience working in an
Agile environment , particularly within
Scrum
