Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing tools, methodologies, and frameworks, and will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test plans. Identify, log, and track bugs and performance issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations for resolution. Maintain and enhance the existing automation frameworks and scripts to ensure scalability and adaptability. Perform regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing as part of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process. Ensure the test environment is prepared and aligned with production standards. Monitor test results and analyze test failures, working with the development team to resolve issues. Document test processes, scenarios, and results to maintain clear and comprehensive testing records. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in test automation. Requirements: Experience : Minimum 2–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in automation testing. Technical Skills : Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps). Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or ALM. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Basic knowledge of database queries (SQL) and API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured. Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow. Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
