A leading supplier of splitter vans and sleeper buses supplied to customers in the UK is looking for an automotive coachbuilder/converter required for the construction and maintenance of their luxury tour bus fleet.

You need to be multi-skilled in various roles which might include carpentry, auto electrics, vehicle trimming, metalwork amongst many other skills. An all-rounder would be best suited to this role, and onsite training is available. Responsibilities

Maintaining the interiors of our splitter van and sleeper bus fleet to ensure their vehicles are kept in optimum condition. Repairing, ordering, and replacing broken internal vehicle parts, fixtures, and fittings. Fabricating new or replacement parts where necessary from wood or metal. Fixing interior trim. Solving electronic/electrical issues (e.g., TVs, hard drives, DVD players, lighting, etc.). Assisting on vehicle conversion jobs including strip down, glazing, wiring, carpentry, trimming, flooring, seating, fabrication, and all other relevant work. Helping to maintain site fixtures and fittings in good working order. Undertaking further training provided to develop skills. Experience and Qualities

They are looking for a person who can demonstrate that they can undertake a range of tasks involved in maintaining our vehicle interiors. You should be someone with either advanced DIY skills or training in one or more of carpentry, metalwork, vehicle trimming, or auto electrics.

You should also have the following qualities and skills: A strong work ethic with good attention to detail and a high standard of work. An efficient, focused worker capable of working to tight deadlines. Ability to work as part of a team; PPE Kit provided.

The position is 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day between 7.00am - 6.00pm to suit and be agreed, Monday - Friday with 1 hour of unpaid breaks per day in addition. There may be times when additional hours are required and clock in/out on a daily basis with overtime paid or time taken in lieu. Salary is between £27,000 - £39,000 depending on experience.
