Operations Manager

Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire

Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00
Salary:
£35,000 per annum (Increasing after successful probation period)

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to support our automotive client in delivering a high-profile, fast-paced vehicle delivery and collection service across multiple UK locations. Based at our client's site in Chipping Warden, you'll work closely with their Head of Operations to oversee the entire order and movement fulfilment cycle. Your focus will be on maximising revenue by optimising driver efficiency, ensuring sustainability and compliance, and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction at every stage.
The Role:
Lead and optimise daily logistics operations, ensuring all activities run smoothly. Oversee planning, scheduling, and driver rotas to meet demand while controlling costs. Manage and develop the logistics team, fostering high performance and engagement. Resolve operational challenges, ensuring compliance and maintaining service excellence. Drive continuous improvement, using technology to streamline processes.
The Person: Proven experience in operations or logistics management. A track record of leading teams and achieving performance targets. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools. A proactive, flexible approach with strong communication skills.
