Job Summary: The Service Adviser reports directly to the Service Director, with additional responsibilities to work with service and warranty managers. This role is vital to the success of this bustling, nationally-acclaimed and award-winning automotive dealership in Northern New Jersey, working with Ford and Lincoln vehicles, and Ford Trucks. The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to multi-task by handling and processing documents while serving a variety of customers, all within a team-oriented environment. Job Accountabilities (include but are not limited to): Serve as liaison between customers and technicians Clearly communicate all vehicle symptoms as described by customer Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle Provide a complete and accurate estimate of costs for labor and parts Monitor the progress of each vehicle and communicate with customers by providing updates and status throughout the day Process repair orders Review all completed work and charges to customers Follow-up with customers post-service when customers have questions and/or concerns Education and Training: Maintain required certifications and qualifications as per Ford Motor Company and Maplecrest Ford Lincoln. Abide by Maplecrest Company Expectations: Attend service meetings and training sessions, including on-line and/or computer-based self-study courses. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, vendors and suppliers. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
