Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Automotive Vehicle Trainer/Teacher to deliver practical and theoretical automotive training, assessments, and progress reviews for apprentices at satellite centres. This role focuses on providing high-quality training in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities: Training & Delivery:

Deliver practical and theoretical automotive training, ensuring high-quality standards. Develop and maintain lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching resources. Ensure accurate records of training, assessment, and learner progress are kept.

Apprentice Progress Monitoring:

Conduct timely progress reviews and ensure apprentices meet qualification targets. Liaise with employers to ensure apprentices complete off-the-job training requirements. Provide feedback and support to apprentices to aid in their course completion.

Functional Skills Coordination:

Work closely with the Functional Skills team to track progress in Maths and English for learners.

Stakeholder Liaison:

Collaborate with Account Managers to report on learner progress. Represent the organisation when engaging with employers, clients, and external stakeholders.

Travel & Flexibility:

Travel to regional sites to deliver training and support apprentices. Work flexibly to meet the needs of learners and employers.

Administrative & Compliance Tasks:

Carry out administrative tasks related to training, assessment, and compliance. Monitor and advise on 20% off-the-job training and ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies.

General Duties:

Promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles in training sessions. Manage workload to meet KPIs and deadlines. Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, employers, and learners.

Essential Skills & Qualifications: Experience in the automotive industry. Experience in delivering vocational training or teaching. Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and qualification requirements. Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
