About the Role We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Installation Engineer to join our client and their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality audio-visual solutions to a range of clients nationwide. You will collaborate with an in-house team and subcontractors to ensure every installation is carried out with professionalism, precision, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys to determine requirements for hardware, software, and resources. Carry out first-fix cable installations for audio solutions. Install AV systems at various client locations across the UK. Oversee and guide on-site resources to ensure project quality standards are upheld. Perform quality control checks to verify system functionality and alignment with project scopes. Communicate installation project requirements to partners and subcontractors. Address on-site risks, scope changes, and additional requirements proactively. Support the recruitment and vetting of installation engineers for local, ad-hoc teams. Lead service calls under service-level agreements with key clients. Provide programming support for audio, lighting, and AV solutions as required.

Essential Skills and Experience

Minimum of 3 years' experience installing AV systems. Strong client-facing communication skills. Solid understanding of: Digital signage content management systems (preferred). LCD, LED, video conferencing, video over IP, and video matrix distribution systems. IT networking and troubleshooting AV systems. Experience installing and commissioning Audio and Control Systems.

Preferred Qualifications

CSCS / ECS card holder. IPAF and PASMA accreditations. Experience installing and commissioning systems such as Q-SYS, BI-AMP, or Crestron. First aid qualification. Full, clean UK driving licence.

Working Hours and Travel

Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Frequent travel is required (up to 70% of the time), including overnight stays.
