As the AV Operations Director, you will be tasked with overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of high-end residential AV projects, maintaining exceptional quality and end client satisfaction. This leadership position will see you focusing on strategy, operational efficiency, and enabling the technical AV teams to excel in their specialist areas of project integration. The position demands a dynamic leader to inspire teams, foster innovation, and align operations with the strategic goals of the company. The company is a small specialist residential systems integrator looking for someone to grow with them. Overview:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement operational strategies to support growth and maintain the company's reputation. Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and support engineering and project teams, fostering accountability and high performance. Project Oversight:

Ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery of high-value AV projects, upholding top standards. Operational Excellence:

Drive continuous improvement and adherence to best AV practices. Client Engagement:

Build strong client relationships, acting as a senior contact to ensure satisfaction and resolve escalations. Quality Assurance:

Enforce high standards of AV, ensuring teams deliver superior results. Resource Management:

Optimise resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting. Compliance and Safety:

Ensure operations comply with regulations and safety standards. Required Skills and Experience:

8-10 years of experience in high-end Residential AV systems, with 5+ years in senior leadership. Strong knowledge of Crestron, Savant, Control4, Lutron, KNX. Exceptional team leadership skills with a history of building and inspiring high-performing teams. Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to establish long-term relationships. Comprehensive understanding of project workflows, deliverables, and technical specifications. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to instil the same in your teams. This position will be a mix of office-based and on client sites in London and the surrounding home counties, so please be aware this is not hybrid or WFH.
