Snapshot of Role, Responsibilities & Skills for the AV Project Engineer:

Our client is seeking a technically adept Project Engineer with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers by providing audio system designs and keeping abreast of new products and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide pre-sales technical support. Design systems that meet the client's specific needs using the appropriate products and technologies. Generate schematics and rack layouts. Offer post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and assist with troubleshooting during service calls. Liaise with manufacturers and distributors to select the best products fit for purpose and acquire an in-depth knowledge of their functions.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience and industry training. 5+ years of experience in the commercial AV industry, with a background in system design and/or commissioning installations. Thorough knowledge of commercial AV products and systems, including experience with Audio, Video, Control, and IT systems.
