What success looks like in this role: Unisys are looking for an AV Engineer, with strong audio visual and video conferencing knowledge, to support our customer in London. The successful candidate will support at both an operational and service / break fix level and will be required to provide a full office service to the client, including the day to day running of Audio-Visual services. Responsibilities: The distribution and management of AV tickets, ad-hoc AV requests and video conferencing Manage and update the on-site audio visual Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Maintain an inventory of supported rooms/suites and AV equipment therein Assist in providing data for reporting purposes Support regular user training activities Deal with day-to-day administrative duties and any ad-hoc duties required Install, diagnose, service and maintain industry standard AV products as well as other computer-related products in meeting rooms/spaces and conference suites May be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script using standard methods, techniques, and tools Manage tickets in client’s ServiceNow environment Provides AV related technical support to customers in solving technical problems that occur during the installation or operation of company supported products Desk side support specialist with good customer service manner May have project management responsibilities for smaller projects Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required Perform regular inspections to ensure AV equipment is setup and working correctly Provides follow-up on problems or escalation Work with local Facilities Management and 3rd party vendors where necessary to resolve issues (including escorting of OEM’s/Vendor support staff) Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system You will be successful in this role if you have: Previous experience in a similar role Good knowledge of Audio-Visual & VC Systems Experience of installing AV & IT hardware and software, including configuration, diagnosing and resolving problems Ability to plan and prioritize workload Ability to work under pressure Competent to a high level of computer literacy Able to work as part of a team Good communication skills both verbal and written Become part of our "Winning Culture"!
