Job description: We are looking to recruit an Avaloq Solution Architect into our Avaloq CoE within the Banking and Diversified Financials Practice to cater to Private Banking. We'd particularly like to hear from you if you have experience working in Avaloq Core & Wealth management solutions. These roles represent a unique opportunity to build your career as a Banking IT professional and gain further exposure to some of the world's top banking institutions. As a vital part of our business unit, you'll contribute to first-class end-to-end solutions in your assignments. You will play an active role in defining our practices, standards, and ways of working, and apply them to your role. Be open to working across organisational and team boundaries to ensure we bring the best to our customers. Our Banking and Diversified Financials practice helps clients shape, define, and deliver banking transformation initiatives across the entire span of the organisation (Front Office to Back Office). This encompasses driving process improvement and digitisation to enhance customer experience and delivery straight-through digital processing and self-service across the bank. Key areas of focus are around wealth management, payments, structured products, and money market products. Some of the tasks you'll be involved in: Provision of specific Avaloq expertise to enable delivery teams. Working with Avaloq delivery teams to translate end user requirements to application/system requirements. Reviewing requirements documents offered by the clients. Design integration, customization, and configuration solutions on Avaloq banking solutions. Act as an Avaloq Technical SME, resolve technical queries and provide technical solutions. Transition design to Development and Testing team members to enable delivery. Mentoring and guiding developers and testers on Avaloq delivery, Avaloq Technical Architecture, Barclays functional requirements, and solutions. Implement best practices from a technical perspective to enable progressive improvement in delivery. Training team members in Avaloq Development. Preparation and execution of test scenarios using Orbium TestMaster and management of integration and system testing. Configuring Avaloq with relevant parameters for Banking Products, Securities, derivatives, Forex products, structured products, forwards and spots, money market products. Own functional & technical specifications and test artifacts created by the team. Conduct functional & technical training on Avaloq. Collaborate with partners within and outside Capgemini to build assets & accelerators. You'll bring the following: Functional Skills: Minimum 5+ years' experience as an Avaloq Solution Architect with a large organisation. Minimum 10+ years of non-Avaloq experience, preferably in Banking and Wealth Management, acting as Technical Solution Architect Lead for at least 3 years. Expertise in any of the other Core & Wealth solutions - Intellect Wealth Management, Temenos WealthSuite, Finacle Wealth Management would be an added asset. Strong analysis skills with wealth Banking expertise, possessing significant work experience and in-depth knowledge of wealth products like securities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, derivatives, Forex, forwards, spots, etc. Understand the Wealth Management and Private Banking business ecosystem - Custodian, Depository, Broker, Registrar, etc. Experience preparing good quality functional design/technical specifications/test cases. Familiarity with GIT, Agile, Scrum in particular, and the use of Jira. Able to work as a team player as well as independently without any supervision. Client facing: Confident and articulate. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to build relationships with business stakeholders and other team members. Ability to lead a team.
